Week 7 review

 On Thursday, we were taught the Toulmin and Rogerian models of argumentation. We studied the processes involved in both the models, and were also provided with a flowchart that detailed the processes. We were then divided into groups of three on the basis of our first languages, and asked to review the essays that we had submitted the previous week. 

On Friday, we learnt about Multimodal Education, and the various types of modes. Multimodality is the interplay between different representational modes, and multimodal learning is the teaching and learning of concepts using multiple modes. Communication, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration(the 4 Cs) are crucial elements of multimodal literacy. As an assignment, we were to analyse a multimodal text and explain the use of the various modes used in the text.
